Lead seekers right to your Reading Room, church, and church website
Be more visible and available to your community
Introduce Reading Room publications to newcomers
Mission
Christian Science Reading Rooms were established as a welcome mat for the world’s spiritual seekers. Yet, this welcome mat has been hidden in recent months as Reading Rooms have been forced to close their doors or severely limit their hours. The mission of MyReadingRoom.com is to help Reading Rooms open their doors wide by making them visible on the busiest street corner of all – the World Wide Web. This site offers seekers “a cup of cold water in Christ’s name” – a friendly introduction to Christian Science and to Mary Baker Eddy’s writings. And it guides people right to your door to learn more.

Participate in a collaborative effort
Myreadingroom.com brings Reading Rooms together. By uniting, we are able to do our job more effectively and reach those in need of healing.
How is this different from JSH-online.com?
JSH-online.com exists to promote the Christian Science periodicals widely and to serve current subscribers. MyReadingRoom.com serves as a succinct, user-friendly introduction to this larger universe of ideas. Its purpose is to build bridges with those who know nothing about Christian Science and to guide newcomers to local Reading Rooms.
Is this affiliated with The Mother Church?
MyReadingRoom.com is a grassroots project just like many other websites developed for branch churches in recent years. The Publishing Society has given us permission to display a sampling of its content on our site. We've also been in regular touch with The Mother Church about our efforts. We're exploring a collaborative approach to promoting public awareness of what Reading Rooms offer in the spirit of the Church Manual's invitation to work together.
How much does it cost to participate? (It's free!)
It's entirely free. MyReadingRoom.com is being supported by generous, voluntary efforts of team members and by donations from individuals who value this work.
How does our Reading Room get started?
To join, simply fill out our registration form. We will post your information on the site within a short time. This will enable you to invite your neighbors and friends to visit your page.
